Goodbye, Grandma

It was a traditional Catholic funeral with all the trimmings - church service (I lit the Pascal Candle), graveside service (such a peaceful, shady spot), extended wake. The contrast between the red-eyed adults and innocent, laughing children summed up the sorrowful yet positive nature of the day. Family ties necessarily strengthened by loss.
