Recent viewing

* "V&A Presents - Alice: Curiouser & Curiouser" (2021) [Kanopy]: Guided tour of imaginatively presented, comprehensive exhibition.

* "Galaxy Quest" (1999) [Netflix]: 25 years on - looks fantastic, increased relevance.

* "Jabberwocky" (1977) [Kanopy]: Gloomy, gross, ludicrous, padded, "Warhammer"-ish, improbable adaptation.

* "Stan Lee" (2023) [Disney+]: Familiar story, but self-told, fantastic footage.

* "The Keep" (1983) [Apple Store rental]: WW2 horror. '80s artistic pretension. Studio savaging.

* "To Catch A Killer" (2023) [Apple Store rental]: Clever, mature, polished, surprising, impactful police manhunt. AND: Best such Hollywood crime flick in years.

<<< Pick of the bunch - "Galaxy Quest". Perfect for what it is. Please never make a sequel. >>>
